Emily Collette, M.S.W., R.S.W. is currently the Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (D.B.T.) -Informed Family Recovery Coordinator at the Canadian Mental Health Association, Toronto branch. She has had the honour of walking on the path of recovery with hundreds of family members since 2005. Emily co-founded the highly successful Talk to Youth Lately (T.T.Y.L.) youth mental health social circus project that works with young people with lived mental health experience. TTYL has educated more than 20,000 other youth about mental health since 2010. Emily went into the mental health field after recovering from her own experiences of life and mental health challenges and so she walks, talks and dances the dance of recovery using evidence-based practices to promote full family wellness. Emily is also a proud wife and mother of three wonderful and spirited children.
